Jennifer Salisbury sings Audioslave

Featuring musical powerhouses Jackie Hempshall on drums and Annette Yates on double bass, this quartet, while staying true to the essence of Ausioslave will be weaving in some unexpected elements. It is a jazz club after all!

For me - jazz is about connection, and when I hear Chris Cornell sing, I feel that emotional connection. It is the same feeling I get when I listen to the greatest jazz vocalists of our time.

It's a joy to share these songs with you on Saturday November 2nd at 9pm at Paris Cat Jazz Club.

Jennifer Salisbury and Mark Morand are one of the busiest jazz partnerships in Australia, currently performing eight different shows all across Victoria. They are well-known to recent Paris Cat audiences for their shows “Anything Goes - the Songs of Cole Porter”; “32 Bars”; and “Our Favourite Things”.

This is their most innovative project yet - to bring Jennifer’s unique jazz sensibilities and Mark’s delightful arranging skills to the songs of the great 21st Century rock act Audioslave, backed by some of Melbourne’s finest musicians.

A show can only ever debut once - here’s your chance to say “I was there!”

Paris Cat Jazz Club brings the romantic, red curtain, dark candlelit vibes you would expect from the perfect jazz club experience.
